Assegnati i premi della seconda edizione

Dopo una maratona di film provenienti da 17 nazioni diverse – tra corti, lungometraggi e documentari – che ha visto per due giorni alla Casa del Cinema affluire curiosi ed appassionati del mondo a due ruote, la giuria ed il pubblico hanno decretato i migliori lavori delle varie categorie in concorso. Ad aggiudicarsi il riconoscimento per il miglior documentario lungometraggio è stato Steven Maes con Caffeine & Gasoline: Evolution of the American Rocker; come miglior documentario cortometraggio ha vinto Motorcycle Man di Daniel Lovering, mentre l’italiano Eugenio Forconi (a cui è stato conferito anche il Premio del Pubblico) con Dove vai ha ottenuto il premio come migliore cortometraggio. Una menzione speciale, nella categoria documentario cortometraggio, è andata a I hate Ladies del trio di registe Sofia Wikelid, Vanja Lamm e Agnes Wentzel Blank.

La serata, presentata da Mauro Caputi (“Lifestyle made in Italy magazine”) e dalla direttrice artistica Benedetta Zaccherini, ha registrato anche la presenza di alcuni dei registi delle opere in concorso: oltre ai premiati Daniel Lovering e Dave Roper ed Eugenio Forconi, hanno partecipato al festival anche Jordi Gomez alias Leon Bocanegra (Northern Lights), Francis Wallis (Trackers), Roberto Serrini e Peter Boggia (Moto Borgotaro).

Soddisfatti della qualità dei lavori esaminati anche i rappresentanti della Giuria, Marie-Line Thioulouze, Roberto Brodolini e Mirko Frezza: quest’ultimo impegnato a Firenze per la “Giornata Nazionale Contro la Solitudine”, ha inviato un videomessaggio ai presenti in sala.

I premi, realizzati a mano da Massimo Fuchs titolare del “Fuchs Workshop”, officina ravennate di preparazione componenti fatti a mano e costruzione moto, sono stati progettati partendo da oggetti di recupero dell’officina ed assemblati con un tocco personale artistico del tutto inconfondibile.

In rappresentanza di Faster Sons (Yamaha Motor), partner dell’iniziativa, Alessandro Pagani ha consegnato in chiusura di serata, dei cadeau a tema dell’azienda.

Awarded the second edition

After a marathon of films from 17 different nations – including shorts, feature films and documentaries – which saw curious and passionate fans of the two-wheeled world flock to the Casa del Cinema for two days, the jury and the public decreed the best works of the various categories in the competition. The winner for the best feature-length documentary was Steven Maes with Caffeine & Gasoline: Evolution of the American Rocker; as best documentary short film won Daniel Lovering‘s Motorcycle Man, while the Italian Eugenio Forconi (who was also awarded the Audience Award) with Dove vai won the award for best short film. A special mention, in the short documentary category, went to I hate Ladies of the director trio Sofia Wikelid, Vanja Lamm and Agnes Wentzel Blank.

The evening, presented by Mauro Caputi (“Lifestyle made in Italy magazine”) and by the artistic director Benedetta Zaccherini, also recorded the presence of some of the directors of the works in competition: in addition to the prize-winners Daniel Lovering and Dave Roper and Eugenio Forconi, they have also participated in the festival Jordi Gomez aka Leon Bocanegra (Northern Lights), Francis Wallis (Trackers), Roberto Serrini and Peter Boggia (Moto Borgotaro).

Representatives of the Jury, Marie-Line Thioulouze, Roberto Brodolini and Mirko Frezza, were also satisfied with the quality of the works examined: the latter engaged in Florence for the “National Day Against Loneliness”, sent a video message to those present at the show.

The awards, hand-made by Massimo Fuchs, owner of “Fuchs Workshop”, a workshop in Ravenna for the preparation of handmade components and motorcycle construction, have been designed starting from workshop recovery objects and assembled with a completely unmistakable personal artistic touch.

Representing Faster Sons (Yamaha Motor), partner of the initiative, Alessandro Pagani delivered the company-themed gifts at the end of the evening.
